Tonello criticizes newspaper for confusing voters
At a rally in Wisner Park Sunday, Nov. 6, John told more than 50 supporters that he has the right experience to lead the city forward, and he condemned the Star-Gazette for trying to purposely mislead voters. Read more

Eric Massa, a Democrat running for Congress in New York's 29th District, endorsed John for mayor of Elmira, citing his experience, leadership and willingness to challenge the status quo. Read more

The CSCLA -- which represents 23 unions, their locals and more than 7,000 AFL-CIO member workers -- has endorsed John as their candidate in the City of Elmira mayoral race.
Eliot Spitzer endorses Tonello
New York Attorney General and 2006 gubernatorial candidate Eliot Spitzer endorsed John for mayor in an Oct. 6 press conference at City Hall, saying John represents the strong non-partisian leadership Elmira needs. Afterward, John announced his plans for making public safety and crime-prevention a priority in Elmira. Read more
